The Indian Council for Cultural relations fondly known as ICCR is an Indian autonomous body of the Government of India founded by the first education minister of Independent India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The ICCR’s main activity involves the strengthening the relationships and external affairs with the neighbouring countries.
The ICCR has been doing great service for the country’s tie ups with the other nations. One of the major activities of the ICCR is that it offers scholarships to the various students of these neighbouring nations and countries.
