DCU International Student Scholarships for Indian Students in Ireland

The Dublin City University, Ireland is inviting applications from Indian students to pursue under-graduate and post-graduate courses in the Dublin city university. The Indian applicants should have an offer of admission or an unconditional offer to study at the University by the April 30th 2014.

Scholarship Details

The scholarships from the Dublin City University, Ireland are exclusively for the Indian students to pursue their under-graduate and post-graduate courses of study at the University itself. The students with excellent academics are encouraged to apply for the scholarships. The applications will be awarded to the Indian students on the basis of merit.

Scholarship Amount

The scholarship amount for the Indian students to pursue the various courses is given below. The under-graduate courses are given a scholarship amount of 3000 pounds for the first year and 2000 pounds for the next subsequent years.

The post-graduate courses are offered 2000 pounds each year for the two years of the post-graduation. The scholarships offered to the Indian students for the full-time scholarships to pursue the under-graduation and post-graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail the scholarship, the applicant should be able to satisfy the following eligibility criteria.

  1. The applicant should be an Indian resident and should be entering Dublin City University for the first time in Ireland.
  2. The applicant should have excellent academic record.
  3. Should hold the offer of letter or an conditional offer from the Dublin city university to pursue full time undergraduate or post graduate university by 30th July, 2014 for the academic year to commence from September in the Dublin City University.
  4. Should be categorised as non-EU student to pursue undergraduate/postgraduate courses at the university for the purpose of availing scholarship amount as fee towards the cost of tuition fees.

Number of Awards

The scholarships are around 10 scholarships for the under-graduation and post-graduation courses of study. The under-graduation course is comprised of around 5 scholarships. The post-graduation course opting students are given another 5 scholarships.

Duration of Awards

The duration of the scholarship is for the entire tenure of the course. The under-graduate course of study require three or four years of study. The post-graduate course of study requires the student for two years of study. Accordingly the students are paid the scholarship for the period of study.

Selection Criteria

The students will be notified by 30th May, 2014 about the status of the application.
