NIPGR Ph.D Admission Notification 2016-2017

National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR) of Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi announced their notification for the Admission to the Ph.D Course for the academic year 2016-2017.

NIPGR Official Notification for the Ph.D Admission 2016:

The NIPGR invites applications from candidates who havecompleted or will be completing M.Sc. or equivalent degree (by August 31, 2016) in Life Sciencesand/or in related disciplines with minimum 55% marks and have cleared the CSIR-UGC NETexam/DBT-JRF (selected through BET/BINC)/ICMR NET exam for JRF (with a Junior ResearchFellowship valid at-least upto December 31, 2016), for conducting advanced research in the frontierareas of Plant Biology such as Computational Biology, Genome Analysis and MolecularMapping, Molecular Mechanism of Abiotic Stress Responses, Nutritional Genomics, PlantDevelopment and Architecture, Plant Immunity, Transgenics for Crop improvement, MolecularBreeding and other emerging areas based on plant genomics.

NIPGR Ph.D Admission Selection Process:

There isn’t any written test for this NIPGR Admissions for Ph.D program for the year 2016-2017. Hence, the admission is purely based on the personal interview indeed.

Important Dates for the Ph.D Admission at NIPGR:

Start date for Online submission of Applications Form: 18th April 2016 from 10am onwards.

Last date for submission of Online Application Form: 20th May 2016 till 5pm.

Last date of receipt of Printed copy of Application Form along with requisite document and Demand Draft: 23rd May 2016 till 5.30 pm.
